Location
Yunnan Nationalities Museum is located on the east bank of Dianchi, a nationally famous lake next to the Yunnan Nationalities Village in Kunming City, China. Completed in 1995, it is a comprehensive Nationalities museum.

 Introduction
Covering an area of over 133,400 square meters, the building area of the museum occupies 130,000 square meters. Yunnan Nationalities Museum consists of various exhibition halls, office buildings, report halls, storages and workshops. The ecological environment, religious customs, culture and arts and ethnic relics of the ethnic groups of Yunnan are all collected in it. 120,000 items in this museum are divided into 16 categories, such as ethnic groups, clothing and personal adornment, technique, arts, ecology, ancient books, and strange stones etc. Among these, the large wooden sculpture, the Buddha Image of Dali State, which was made on the basis of Painting Volume by painter Zhang Shengwen, attracts the gaze of most people.
