Reservation
We will offer free designing service to you. Please select one well-made tour and send us your online inquiry. When one itinerary finally meets your satisfaction, you can apply for reservation.
If you really prefer a tailor-made tour, please send us your enquiry stating your exact requirements and we will customize a tour package upon your request.
We will make every effort to reply to your inquiry within 24 hours of after receiving your email. Follow the easy steps below:
-Select a Ready-made Itinerary that is most suitable and send it to us.
-Discuss the travel plan in details. Get a prompt and professional reply and negotiate details. Read the revised itinerary and quotation carefully we send to you and discuss the details with GWV tour advisor.
-Confirm your acceptance of the tour plan provided by Great Wall Vacation via email or a paper confirmation and apply for reservation.
Great Wall Vacation will immediately prepare all things concerned in the travel plan. For any changes which are different from your planned requirement during reservation GWV will inform you for approval.
Payment
A deposit which is equal to 10% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking,
depending on different destinations and hotels.
The full or final payment is required 30 days before the first day of your China tour.If due to air schedule, surface transportation, hotel arrangement or other suppliers’ reasons and/or events beyond our control which may cause the increase or decrease in the tour price, payment will be calculated and charged accordingly. Late Bookings which are bookings made within 30 days of the departure date , and are subject to availability.
A late booking will only be taken with full payment.The deadline for full payment will be 15 days prior to departure date from your country.

2.The quote we provide is in USD, the equivalent quote in Chinese currency-RMB is based on current exchange rate between the RMB and the USD. The quote we provide in USD is subject to slight change due to the fluctuation of the exchange rate.
Cancellations & Refunds
We would feel sorry if you must cancel your trip, but cancellation must be in written
letter (email or fax). Alteration before payment is free of charge. Once the travel starts, any extra payment caused by clients' changes will be added. Any unused portion is neither refundable nor exchangeable. Cancellation charges will be calculated as of the date we receive your cancellation. But if cancellation occurs after your confirmation of the tour, or if you fail to pay the full cost of the tour within the specified time, you will be liable to pay cancellation charges.
Cancellation charges and refunds shall be calculated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and Great Wall Vacation's cancellation policy. If you are due a refund, you first must return your air tickets and, if applicable, cruise tickets to Operator. Any applicable refunds will be returned to you in the manner in which payment was made, and processed within 14 days of receipt of your written cancellation request.

1)Traveler substitutions are considered reservation cancellations and are subject to the above cancellation fees.
2) After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
3)If you are a no-show, if you cancel your trip after the departure date, or if you leave a trip already in progress, you will not receive any refund for any unused portion of your trip.
4)If you reserved a double room and are sharing with a friend or family member, and that person cancels prior to departure, you may be subject to additional single supplement and travel protection fees.
5)If cancellation has to be made within 15 days, we will charge some cancellation penalty as well as the deposit, according to how much we have to pay to our suppliers. If the ticket of airlines, cruises or trains have already been issued of final confirmation has been received at the time of cancellation (regardless of the number of days prior to departure), the clients will be assessed an additional airline, cruise , train or hotel cancellation penalty and service surcharge. We will try our best to decrease your loss because we know it's not your purpose to cancel it.
Alteration of Itinerary
1)Before your booking is confirmed, alterations to your itinerary are happily processed
free of charge, because providing the best tour possible for you is our mission. However, alterations after you have received your booking confirmation letter will incur a fee of $ 25.00 per request, and changes to departure date or destination may incur cancellation fees. All changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
2)Great Wall Vacation reserves the right to modify the itinerary of the tour if air schedule or surface transportation changes, and/or events beyond our control make such alteration necessary. In this event the increase or decrease in the tour price will be calculated and charged accordingly. If the arranged tour has to be changed only due to your request, you are supposed to pay for the corresponding additional cost.

China visa fee.
Optional tours and meals that not specified in the Itinerary.
Gratuities and tipping.
3) In certain circumstances, Great Wall Vacation may change the departure date of your trip or consolidate any trips that do not reach a minimum level of participation or are overbooked. In this event, you will be offered an alternative departure date or trip. If we are not able to agree upon a suitable alternative, you will be entitled to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of your Trip Price.
4) If Great Wall Vacation cancels any optional extension which you have purchased, you will receive a refund of the amount you paid for the extension. However, if you subsequently decide to cancel the base (main) portion of your trip, cancellation charges will apply.
5) Great Wall Vacation reserves the right to cancel or shorten a trip without notice due to Force Majeure, in which event your sole remedy shall be a prorated refund for any unused portion of the trip.
6) All traveler requests, including Breakaways, preferred air schedules, and special accommodations, are subject to availability and are not guaranteed, and charges may apply.
Travel Documents
A valid passport and necessary visas or permits are required for you traveling on our programs. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of yours, though
your travel consultant may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon your request. For tours requiring visas for Non-Chinese citizens, you are responsible for obtaining all visas and entry documents, and for meeting all health and other requirements and any documents required by laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited. Non-Chinese citizens must consult with the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed. Most countries require that the passport be valid for at least six months beyond the conclusion of your trip.
We can send you an official invitation letter Free of Charge to assist you to get your visa. The invitation will only be sent after we receive the reservation deposit.Great Wall Vacation accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation.
Accommodations
The accommodations listed will be used on most departures; however, if a change becomes necessary for any reason, the accommodations substituted will be equivalent in standard to those shown. Every effort is made to reserve only twin-bedded rooms. It may occasionally happen that an accommodation provides some double-bedded rooms instead. These rooms will be allocated to couples.
For persons requiring a single room, the Single Supplemental cost is applied. Right is reserved to substitute hotels for those specified in the itinerary whenever necessary.
Please note that accommodation check-in times vary throughout China.
Luggage Allowance
According to the regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg (44pounds) for the economy class, 30kg (66pounds) for the business class, and 40kg (88pounds) for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of yours. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.
Medical Issues
You must advise us in writing, at or prior to booking, of any physical, emotional or
mental condition which may require professional attention during the trip or may require the use of special equipment. If you require a wheelchair, you must provide your own small, collapsible wheelchair. Certain features, and certain trips, are not wheelchair-accessible. We cannot guarantee any wheelchair assistance or accessibility in international destinations. Great Wall Vacation reserves the right to decline any trip participant whose condition, in our opinion, may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other participants.
We cannot accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy.
You should take into account all international travel risks and familiarize yourselves with health requirements applicable to the areas you intend to visit. You are solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries you are going to visit or transit.
Travelers to Tibet are required to provide a doctor's certificate stating that the he/she is fit to travel and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal in case that the very high altitude have the possible effects on certain people.
Insurance
We strongly suggest our clients to contract comprehensive travel insurance with a responsible insurance company in your home country before your China tour. This
type of insurance will cover clients in case they have to interrupt or cancel their trip due to an emergency or other circumstances to be set forth by the terms and coverage of the insurance company. You will have a maximum protection against all eventualities during your travel.
Great Wall Vacation’s tour packages cover NO Insurance unless you require. Upon your request, GWV could offer a limited insurance cover for clients who book tours excluding the day tours, half-day tours, pickup & transfer service, hotel bookings or air ticket only. We do our best to make your trip as worry free as possible. The insurance is China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance. Please note that insurance in China cannot compare with the sum insured in your home country due to the differences and reality.
Responsibility
The responsibility of Great Wall Vacation and its affiliated companies is strictly limited. Great Wall Vacation shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, or failure to act of any suppliers such as those of surface, air, and water transportation, sightseeing excursions, cruise/hotel accommodations, or of any third party not directly owned or operated by Great Wall Vacation. By utilizing the travel services of the Suppliers, you agree that you will look to such Suppliers for any accident, injury, property damage, or personal loss to you or to those traveling with you, and that neither Great Wall Vacation nor any representative of Great Wall Vacation shall be liable.
Without limitation, Great Wall Vacation is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay, or inconvenience in connection with the provision of, or failure to provide, any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from--but not limited to--acts of God or force majeure, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes of other means of transportation or for the failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time, sanitation problems, lack of medical care, or for any other cause beyond the direct control of Great Wall Vacation. Nor is Great Wall Vacation responsible for the stolen and lost of your valuable items due to your own negligence.
Great Wall Vacation is not responsible for your failure to comply with customs regulations.
Great Wall Vacation reserves the right to substitute hotels of similar quality at any time or to make changes in itinerary of similar quality, flights, or cruise ships, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If Great Wall Vacation has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, Great Wall Vacation is liable for a full refund of the money received by Great Wall Vacation. If you purchase an airline ticket separately, ensure that your agent explains the conditions under which the ticket is issued as Great Wall Vacation is not responsible for such airline ticket cancellation fees.
Great Wall Vacation reserves the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time, or to increase the program price in
the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, currency fluctuations, park fee increases, taxes, or fuel surcharges.
Please understand that not all museums and attractions are open every day of the year. Great Wall Vacation reserves the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities if that will enable you to visit all listed excursions. In either case, the itinerary content will be maintained to the extent possible and there are no refunds for any unused or unavailable excursions.
Many of Great Wall Vacation tour packages include activities that require care attention. Such activities include boarding and going ashore from boats, climbing hills and entering and exiting tombs and caves etc. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. Great Wall Vacation, its employees and agents cannot be responsible for any action or event that occurs after its employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.
Complaints and Claims
Whenever you feel unsatisfied with any service Great Wall Vacation has provided, please inform your
local tour guide or your travel consultant immediately to avoid similar problems happening again either before or during your trip.
If you want to complain or claim for compensation, you must inform us by email, regular mail, or facsimile in writing within 15 days upon your finish of your tour. Please attach relevant receipts and substantiating evidence to the letter of claim. Great Wall Vacation will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 days after you finish your tour.
